To provide football for all children of all ages and all skill levels, in a fun and safe environment
To promote good behaviour & respect for others, developing strong relationships with their peers To ensure all players understand and play within the rules of the game Promote the importance of Teamwork Play to win but not at the cost of development Coaching ethos: Improve the player’s movement skills: agility, balance, coordination and speed. Develop the player’s technical skills. Increase the player’s decision-making capabilities. Teach the player life skills (co-operation, teamwork, communication and friendship). Make the game safe, fair and enjoyable. Provide age-appropriate coaching Players should be exposed to all positions on the pitch up to U12s. Coaches create a philosophy where players are comfortable to receive the ball, dribble with confidence and bring their teammates into the game as much as possible. |
